
Maasai Eunoto Selected for Firenze Archeofilm Festival, Wins Prestigious University of Florence Award
We are honored to share that Maasai Eunoto has been officially selected for the Firenze Archeofilm Festival in Florence, Italy (March 5–9), where it was awarded the Winner University of Florence Award. We are thrilled to have been recognized by this wonderful festival.
The Firenze Archeofilm is an international film festival dedicated to archaeology, art, and the environment. Organized by Archeologia Viva (Giunti Editore) and held annually in Florence, Italy, the festival showcases documentaries, animated films, and short films on archaeological, historical, ethnographic, artistic, and environmental themes.
Key Highlights:
• Dates: The 7th edition of the festival was held March 5-9, 2025.
• Location: The main screenings are held at Cinema La Compagnia in Florence, Italy.
• Awards: There are several awards, including the Firenze Archeofilm Award (audience favorite), the University of Florence Award, the Best Short Film Award, and the Museo e Istituto Fiorentino di Preistoria Award for the best prehistoric archaeology film.
• Participation: The festival is free to enter and open to filmmakers and producers worldwide. Films must be under 60 minutes long and completed after 20212.
