Maasai Eunoto will be screened at Djarfogo Film Festival in Cape Verde, Nov 6th to 13th where an Explosion of African Voices will be shared!

The DjârFogo International Film Festival (DIFF) is an independent, federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) cultural institution dedicated to elevating African and Diaspora cinema. Founded in 2019 by award-winning filmmaker and film/media professor Guenny K. Pires, together with members of Txan Film Productions & Visual Arts, DIFF has grown into a global platform for cinematic freedom, creative education, and cultural exchange.

Beyond screening films, DIFF is deeply committed to education and cultural exchange. It incorporates the Africa Film Lab/Filmmaking Mentorship to train aspiring filmmakers and offers workshops, panels, and academic exchanges. The festival’s broader mission includes reducing poverty and empowering disadvantaged youth by providing free visual arts education, ultimately fostering a better global understanding through the power of storytelling.

Mission: Rooted in the volcanic soil of Fogo, Cabo Verde, and headquartered between Los Angeles and the Cape Verde Islands, DIFF connects artists, scholars, and communities across continents. Their mission is to amplify Black narratives, empower emerging filmmakers, and champion the originality, memory, and imagination of Pan-African and Diaspora culture.
